One of the things I have always loved about this world is the amazing places we find if we do a little looking around. Some are beautiful and serene, some are full of great shopping, and some are surreal and tranquil. Others are Everwinter.
I love to visit places like this in SL where I know that I’ll be able to say “no avatars were harmed during the shooting of these images”. (The rabbit cart thing behind me DID get a bit aggro at one point, however).
I made a friend. Well, I mustered the fortitude to sit next to this little….yeah….he said it WAS his brother in Poltergeist.
So yeah, it’s another one.
My suspicions about the sim were confirmed when we spoke with creator Lauren Bentham, the sim is based on the town of Pripyat in Ukraine – an entire town built for – I believe – all the workers at Chernobyl and their families. Along with the things most towns had – it had an amusement park, adding to the spook factor when you see what it looks like 30 years after being literally abandoned after the disaster.
The sim has a combination of inspiration from the above mentioned town and…. I guess maybe an afternoon daydream from Rob Zombie.
chelsea looks stunning though!
I suppose I did not expect to stumble onto this, but nevertheless this IS a lifestyle AND style blog! So – in my Annabelle Gown by Just Because, I look over what I suppose may be a crime scene? My little friend didn’t have much to say – the gas mask may have been an impediment.
Pay no attention to the suicide victim behind the curtain, the gown is in the color “tropicana”.
He was not at all chatty.
A few various scenes we encountered.
I highly recommend visiting Everwinter. More than once if you want to take in all of the details and sights. She put a lot of effort into it!
